Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
InboxVeil is published by Yirinhana Studio ("we"). This policy explains what data the InboxVeil browser extension and this website handle.
Email data
InboxVeil does not access the Gmail API or Microsoft Graph, does not read, collect, store or transmit the content, subjects, senders or metadata of your emails. It only changes how the mail web page is displayed in your browser.
Website access
InboxVeil runs only on mail.google.com. If you are a Pro user and turn on the optional Outlook on the web (beta) setting, the browser asks you to grant access to outlook.live.com, outlook.office.com and outlook.office365.com; InboxVeil then hides the message list there in the same way. This access is optional, never granted at install, and you can revoke it at any time in your browser’s extension settings. On all of these sites InboxVeil only changes how the page is displayed and does not read or transmit email content.
Data stored on your device
Your settings (inbox times, days, preferences), focus statistics and license status are stored locally using the browser’s extension storage. This data never leaves your device except as described below, and is removed when you uninstall the extension.
License verification
If you activate Pro, your license key and an anonymous instance identifier are sent to our licensing provider (Creem, or a relay operated on our behalf) to activate and periodically validate the license. No email data is ever included.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Creem as merchant of record. We receive your email address and order details from Creem to deliver your license and support you. See Creem’s privacy policy for how they process payment data.
Analytics and selling data
The extension contains no analytics, tracking or advertising. We do not sell or share personal data. Use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
